Every Child is a Blessing!   ...

The work we do is solely based upon the following principle: "Every child is a blessing". As such, our work through advocacy, both as parents and educators, is to keep this in the forefront of our efforts.  Our children need to be understood and appreciated due to their gifts, talents, contributions, and challenges. No matter how inconvenient their actions and behavior maybe, today's children require imaginative education planning, innovative resource development, and consistent classroom management like never before. Whether identified as ADHD, Autistic, or Learning Disabled , there are so many more kids today who function like "square pegs within round holes” . These children need intensive support through advocacy, one child at a time. Let's begin our work together today for the path of advocacy is to discover the gift within!

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.

I just wish that He didn't trust me so much".     - Mother Theresa

As stewards of these remarkable kids, we are challenged by their path for the "road less traveled" is often the road less desired!  Nevertheless, it is the one which we have been given.  So to assure our advocacy efforts are successful, we will take on the maze by establishing the following principles:

  • Establish "mutual understanding" first and foremost.

  • Build upon success; Appreciative Advocacy guides your efforts.

  • Move to fact from fiction; let the data/evaluations speak for themselves!

  • And remember, "true love" is understanding.

"Love is all we need".  - Lennon & McCartney
